Although this does not mean that the National Pokédex will be unlocked in Z-A.

Pokémon Home, the cloud storage service for pocket monsters, will very soon support two more titles in the franchise. According to specialist outlet Serebii, maintenance is scheduled on the app's servers from 00:00 UTC to 06:00 UTC (or from 02:00 to 08:00 CEST), after which integration with Pokémon Legends: Z-A and Pokémon Champions will begin rolling out. Pokémon Home connects generations of Pokémon games and allows them to be transferred between compatible editions. It's a brilliant way to continue enjoying those companions that took so much effort to raise, evolve and care for in preparation for Trainer battles, and in some cases the only way to complete the National Pokédex, which encompasses all regions of the Pokémon world.

On the other hand, it has not yet been revealed whether Pokémon Home will be compatible with the recent re-releases of Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen, nor whether we will be able to transfer Pokémon from other editions, such as Scarlet and Violet or Sword and Shield, to the new titles. However, it could mean that Mega Evolutions can be transferred, for example, from Z-A to Champions, which will undoubtedly add another layer to the game's competitive side.
