Next summer, we're finally set to reunite with Shrek, his family, and his quirky friends for the first time in 17 years (Shrek Forever After premiered in 2010). After all this time, a lot has obviously happened in the ogre's life, and the kids are now older.
We already know that Zendaya will play Felicia, while Skyler Gisondo (whom we recently saw as Jimmy Olsen in the latest Superman) and Marcello Hernández will voice the twins Fergus and Farkle. Now another role has been officially confirmed, and it's perhaps a slightly less surprising one that most people probably expected, but no less delightful to have confirmed by the actress herself.
When Cameron Diaz appeared on Jimmy Fallon's talk show The Tonight Show this week, she took the opportunity to confirm that she's returning as Princess Fiona in Shrek 5, where we already know that both Mike Myers (Shrek) and Eddie Murphy (Donkey) will also reprise their iconic roles.
