Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II has released its March Community Update, shoving it in right at the end of the month and giving us some more information on upcoming updates, a new roadmap coming somewhere down the line, and a more detailed response to the feedback on the game's maligned voice pack DLC.

In a post on Steam, we see that the upcoming Patch 13 will have a heavy focus on Siege mode. Primarily, Saber and Focus want to make the game mode faster and more intense. There will also be more purchasable item, and you can get accolades from playing Siege mode.

A new PvE mission, more customisation for the Techmarine, 3 Heroic weapons variants, a new weapon, and more customisation features are on the way, including the Iron Hands Chapter Pack. Regarding the roadmap, it's noted that a new one is coming in April, "as the current one is no longer faithful to reality." This likely means the release of some content may be pushed back, but we'll have to wait until the reveal to find out.

Game director Dmitriy Grigorenko commented on the aforementioned voice pack DLC, essentially explaining the original design for the content, and how it didn't hit players' expectations. "Looking ahead, we'll be making improvements to the current implementation. We are currently working on an option to disable replacement of missing level specific VOs by Ultramarine characters, and we'll also expand the voice pack to PvP," he wrote.
