Los Angeles Dodgers, one of the biggest teams in MLB, has launched a promotion with Universal and Nintendo for the Super Mario Galaxy Movie, which releases on April 1. As you probably know already, Yoshi is one of the main draws of the film, and Los Angeles Dodgers will release an exclusive, limited-edition Yoshi bobblehead figure, dressed in a Dodgers jersey, hat, and baseball glove.

The bobblehead figurine will not be sold, but instead will be given to Dodgers fans who visit the stadium on March 31, for a match against Cleveland Guardians at the Dodgers Stadium, the day before the movie releases. The first 40,000 fans to attend the stadium will receive the figure, which will surely skyrocket hours later on eBay...
Cool promotion, but... why? Well, this promotion has been made because one of the stars of the Dodgers is called Yoshinobu Yamamoto. A coincidence that the MLB team and Universal used to promote the movie.
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie releases on April 1, and the final trailer will be revealed on Monday during a Nintendo Direct.
