Kuwait accidentally shot down three US F15 fighter jets on Monday while they were conducting operations related to Iran, according to US Central Command (Centcom). All six aircrew ejected safely and have been recovered in stable condition. Centcom described it as an "apparent friendly fire incident" during ongoing combat.

The incident adds to a rapidly escalating conflict across the Middle East. Iran's recent strikes targeted civilian and strategic sites across Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. In response, the US and six allied Gulf states issued a joint statement condemning Iran's "indiscriminate and reckless attacks," warning that such actions threaten regional stability.

Meanwhile, Israel continues military action in Lebanon against Hezbollah, acknowledging that fighting could last several more days.
