The Qatar football Association has announced the postponement of all tournaments, competitions, and matches until further notice, following the two days of strikes between United States and Israel and Iran, with Qatar being hit by Iranian missiles, and the closure of their airspace.
This will affect AFC Champions League round of 16 games which were going to take place this week, including games with Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Hilal, and most likely the Finalissima between Argentina and Spain, a match between the World and America champions and the European champions, measuring the two countries three months before World Cup, which was set to happen in Doha on March 27.
The almost certainty that the conflict will not ease in a month's time means that the Spanish and Argentinian football federations will need to find a new home if they want the match to take place as planned on March 27, during the last international break before the FIFA World Cup in June.
