Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu just announced "all indications" suggest Iran's supreme leader Ali Khamenei is "no longer with us" after joint US-Israeli strikes on Tehran. He stopped short of confirming Khamenei's death but claimed his compound had been destroyed, contradicting earlier statements from Iranian officials who said the leader was "safe and sound".

In a televised address, Netanyahu called on Iranians to "flood the streets" and seize what he described as a historic opportunity to topple the regime. He said senior Revolutionary Guard commanders and nuclear officials had been eliminated and vowed to continue striking "thousands of targets".

Khamenei has not appeared in public since the strikes began, and satellite images indicate that his heavily guarded compound sustained significant damage in the opening wave of attacks. We are waiting for further details and will provide updates as more information becomes available...
