The draw for Champions League round of 16 took place Friday morning in Nyon, Switzerland, in a live event that went short and to the point.
We finally know the rivals for the Champions League round of 16, to take place on March 10/11 and March 17/18, as well as the full bracket all the way to the final, meaning that we can predict which potential rival can each team meet in the way to the final.
As you may know, each team only had two choices, determined by their position in the league phase. Some were more lucky than others...
Champions League round of 16 draw
After a brief explanation of how the draw works, Ivan Rakitić, who won Champions League with Barcelona in 2015, was invited to take the balls. These are the duels (the first team mentioned will play the second leg away, meaning City, Bayern Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal, Sporting, and Barcelona play the second leg at home).

Atalanta vs. Bayern Munich
Galatasaray vs. Liverpool
Paris Saint-Germain vs. Chelsea
Madrid/City will face Atalanta/Bayern in quarter-finals; and will face the winner of PSG/Chelsea vs. Galatasaray/Liverpool.

Atlético Madrid vs. Tottenham
Newcastle vs. FC Barcelona
Bayer Leverkusen vs. Arsenal
Bodo/Glimt vs. Sporting Lisbon
Newcastle/Barça will face Atleti/Tottenham in quarter-finals; and will face the winner of Bodo/Glimt/Sporting vs. Leverkusen/Arsenal.
