American director and actor Rob Reiner has been found dead in his Los Angeles home alongside his wife, Michele Singer Reiner. Rob was 78, and Michele was 68, with them both being found dead due to stab wounds.
According to People, the couple were found dead by their daughter Romy, and it is believed that the person who killed the couple was their son Nick. In a previous interview with People, Nick spoke about his long-term struggles with drugs, which had led to him being homeless at a point in his life.
As far as we know right now, LA police are questioning Nick, and we'll likely hear more soon as this story continues to unfold.
Rob Reiner is most well-known for his directing work, having been in the chair for This is Spinal Tap, The Princess Bride, Stand by Me, When Harry Met Sally, A Few Good Men and some other true classics.
