Ahead of today's press conferences (Microsoft takes to the stage at 17:30 BST, and Sony does the same at 2:00am tomorrow morning) two of the key figures for this year's show shared a light-hearted embrace before things got series.
Xbox boss Phil Spencer and Sony's Jack Tretton were pictured together by Geoff Keighly, who then shared the image on Twitter for us all to enjoy.
