A surprise press release has revealed that production house Village1 Entertainment have taken on the task of bringing the old Starbreeze fantasy title Enclave to the Nintendo Wii. Enclave was originally released on Xbox in 2002, with a PC version arriving the next year. There was also a sequel, Enclave II, in development, but that project was cancelled.
We asked Starbreeze Studios' CEO Johan Kristiansson about their involvement:
"We have given them certain administrative support to make this happen, but we haven't been involved in the actual development."
Enclave on the Nintendo Wii is planned for release during the first quarter of 2010.
