It was recently leaked that the critically acclaimed Resident Evil VII: Bio Hazard would soon be coming to Nintendo Switch 2. Not only that, but Capcom intended to bring all of Resident Evil to Switch 2, at least all of those built on the RE Engine. Now, that information has been corroborated. At least, in part.
It was during the Nintendo Direct presentation currently airing that Capcom revealed that Resident Evil "IX": Requiem, VII: Biohazard, and VIII: Village will be coming soon to Nintendo Switch 2, which, along with the recent Cronos: The New Dawn and other horror titles, begins to bolster its survival horror line-up. Will Eternal Darkness be next?
This modern RE trilogy is coming to Switch 2 in its entirety in February, so hybrid gamers can catch up with a marathon of fear. Now it remains for Capcom to also confirm the rumoured Resident Evil 2 and 3 remake adaptations, which were perhaps a little out of place in today's announcement.
