The latest news on Israel and Palestine. We now know that several UN food trucks were looted in Gaza overnight, just hours after crowds overran a US-backed aid site meant to streamline humanitarian delivery, Gaza residents said on Wednesday.

Witnesses reported scenes of desperation, with barriers set up to intercept supplies before reaching their intended recipients. The system, introduced without international agency support, has drawn criticism over safety and neutrality.
