While Valkyria Chronicles on Playstation 3 was a success in terms of its critical reception it failed to set the market on fire with sales. Perhaps the genre is better suited for the handheld market? At the very least development costs must be much lower and perhaps that is the reason why the sequel is coming out on PSP.
