Nintendo of Europe has today revealed a deal with free-hotspot.com that will enable 3DS users to use their handhelds in a variety of different public locations.
There are over 5,000 Wi-Fi hotspots dotted across 21 European countries, with many of them located in restaurant chains such as McDonalds, Burger King and Subway. Several hotels also provide the service. You can find a conclusive list of locations on the free-hotspot.com website.
Laurent Fischer, Managing Director of European Marketing & PR at Nintendo of Europe says: "With such an extensive European-wide Wi-Fi access network, partnering with free-hotspot.com made absolute sense."
Fischer later added: "We also urge all Nintendo 3DS owners to also take advantage of the latest System Update which has brought an array of new features and enhancements, including 3D video capture."
