With studios in Montreal, Quebec City and Vancouver Ubisoft seems more Canadian than French these days and their fourth Canadian studio in Toronto makes it even more so. The Toronto studio is expected to create 800 jobs within the next decade and Ontario have committed to investing an astounding CA$263 million during these ten years. Ubisoft meanwhile have agreed to invest more than half a billion Canadian dollars in the same period. The Toronto studio will begin operations in late 2009.

"We are in an excellent position to grow and after extensive analysis we are thrilled to have reached an agreement with the government of Ontario to found our new studio in Toronto.
