Alpine F1 Team, Renault's Formula 1 Team, has announced an unusual collaboration between Xbox and Bethesda Softworks, developers of the upcoming video game Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

For the United States F1 Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, from October 18 to 20, BWT Alpine F1 debuted a new car livery design for both of Alpine's cars in the competition, as well as their racer's respective suits. The cars and suits feature intricate details inspired by the game, including the Indiana Jones logo or a treasure map players will find in the game.

"Working with the Xbox team to bring alive the incredible Indiana Jones and the Great Circle livery for the United States Grand Prix has been fantastic," said Oliver Oakes, BWT Alpine Formula One Team, Team Principal.

Xbox and Alpine had already worked before. Last season, Alpine's car features Xbox and PC Game Pass logos during Japan Grand Prix, a good way to promote the Xbox console (or "ecosystem", as Microsoft usually refers to it) in the country.

Micrososft hopes this Indiana Jones branding doesn't go unnoticed by viewers of the GP, and many will buy Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on December 9, or sign up for Xbox Game Pass. It is one of Microsoft most important first-party launches in recent years, coming from MachineGames, makers of Wolfenstein.
