A job listing from Blizzard has started speculation that their secretive new MMO, Titan, may have a real-world (or near real-world) setting.

The advert was spotted and then posted on NeoGaf. The role is that of Franchise Development Producer (NEXT-GEN MMO) and focuses on expanding the brand over different products like books, comics and action figures.

Most interestingly, it stipulates that a major part of the role will involve: "Work with major consumer brands to facilitate product placement and licensing within the world of Blizzard Entertainment's next-gen MMO that enhances the gameplay experience."

Whether this means placing Blizzard's new MMO with products, or putting products in Blizzard's new MMO, it remains unclear. However, if in-game product placement is something that the developers are seriously looking into, it would suggest a real-world setting.

Details are thin on the ground, as Blizzard has remained tight lipped since the existence of the game became public knowledge.
