Digital Illusions' insanely promising first person action adventure Mirror's Edge will be released on consoles, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, worldwide on 11 November (13 November in the Nordic region), with the PC version slipping to a tentative "winter" release.
The press release also goes on to reveal that there will be a demo for Mirror's Edge released on Playstation Network and Xbox Live, and that pre-orders will receive a code (from the 26 September) that unlocks the time trial mode in the demo.
"Mirror's Edge is bringing something new to the action-adventure genre this holiday by putting the player in the shoes of the hero, seeing what she sees, feeling what she feels," says Owen O'Brien, Senior Producer, DICE. "We wanted to create an entirely new experience, with a different type of heroine and a world that not only looks fresh and new but has unique gameplay."
