Tesla is recalling more than two million of its cars following an autopilot defect which could cause crashes. Following a two-year investigation into the system, the fault was found which could induce crashes when it was in use.
Even though this is classified as a recall, this does not mean two million Tesla drivers will have to show up to a dealership. According to the BBC, this is being done over the air, meaning that a software update will fix the fault.
Over here in the UK, no cars are being recalled as Teslas are not self-driving. Technically, neither are the ones in the US, but the features were not found to be sufficient enough to prevent driver misuse.
