Deep Silver has no plans to let the dead rest as Dead Island is getting a DLC that dives deeper into the story and expands it as players are invited to see things from the perspective of the game's villain Ryder White.

THQ endured a weekend full of rumours of its demise as industry profile Kevin Dent tweeted about a cancellation of Warhammer 40,000: Dark Millennium Online, financial woes and cancellation of all titles beyond 2013. He later backed down from his claims and THQ refuted most of them. But THQ have seen better days and must be hoping to bounce back with the likes of UFC Undisputed 3, Darksiders II and Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III.

Finally, the day started out with a piece of bad news as 2K Games delayed the troubled Xcom action reboot thought to be ready for a March release to an unknown date in 2013.

See you back tomorrow, as we're quite sure it will be just as interesting.
