Last year saw the release in Japan of Dragon Quest X Offline, a version of Square Enix's title in which you don't need to connect to the internet or other players to experience the heroic JRPG. Since then the game has only been available in this form in Japan, but now that it is also set to be released in the rest of the Asian region, fans of the long-running series have started to get excited to see the game in the West.

As reported by Gematsu on X, Square Enix has updated the localisation of DQX Offline's PlayStation and Steam trailers for the planned Spring 2024 release, which could be a sign that the game will one day be playable in Europe and America.

Nothing has been confirmed, so take this information with a bit of caution. Regardless, and if you want to try Dragon Quest X Offline, there is a demo available on the Japanese eShop.
