Recently, Xbox boss Phil Spencer headed down to Blizzard HQ in Irvine, California to address employees following the acquisition of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft. Studio boss Matt Booty and Sarah Bond also appeared, filling out the rest of the Xbox leadership team.

According to Windows Central, the meeting saw Spencer give a short statement to employees, where he said "Microsoft is striving to be a source of trust for Blizzard, and wants to enable Blizzard to achieve its visions and dreams."

Also, Blizzard was reportedly referred to as the "Pixar of gaming." Interestingly, it doesn't seem like there was much of an Activision presence at the event, apart from a few images of the logo as posted online by Activision's EVP for corporate affairs, Lulu Cheng Meservey.
