Many of us are eager to see what Zack Snyder has cooked up when Rebel Moon premieres on Netflix on December 22. Now we've even learned that the film will have a prequel in the form of a comic book created by Snyder himself and written by Mags Visaggio.
Titan Comics will publish the series, which will consist of four issues under the title Rebel Moon: House of the Bloodaxe. However, it will not be released before the film, but only in January 2024.
"As war is looming on the horizon on the planet Shasu, the leader of the Bloodaxe family is conflicted between living up to his father's domineering legacy and maintaining the peace. It is up to him to settle the conflicts within himself, and his family, before the entire planet erupts in war."
