No Media Molecule at E3, Dark Souls II DLC, Terraria on new-gen and silver screen tidbits.

The morning started out with a presidential mention for The Witcher, and the news that Media Molecule won't show their next game at E3. Terraria is coming to new-gen consoles, while Virtual Consoles sees its first DS title in Japan. Indie effortNight in the Woods was confirmed for PS4, and MMO shooter TV series hybrid Defiance made the switch to free-to-play.

Bandai Namco announced an ambitious trilogy of DLC for Dark Souls II that will see the first episode release on July 22.

There was kind words uttered about Sony by Xbox boss Phil Spencer, as Xbox One saw a big system update add Games with Gold and external storage today. Meanwhile, PS Store got the E3 festivities started early with a pre-E3 sale on PS3, PS4, and PS Vita.

Couple of silver screen tidbits as Sony are in talks with a director for the propsed Metal Gear Solid movie, while filming has begun on Ridley Scott's Halo project over in Northern Ireland.

GRTV gave us a BattleCry preview, the latest edition of Games to Look For, and an interview with Wildstar's senior game designer Kathryn Megan Starks.
