As we reported yesterday, the June update for Xbox One has now been released. Adding the option to use external hard drives with Xbox One, free games with Xbox Live Gold and a lot more. But what we didn't know is that it also gives something extra for an entirely different group of Xbox One users - the developers.
This was announced on Twitter where the Xbox head honcho Phil Spencer wrote: "June #XboxOne software dev kit gives devs access to more GPU bandwidth. More performance, new tools and flexibility to make games better"
Exactly how much extra juice the Xbox One got today is uncertain, but what is certain is that more power is way better than nothing.
