There has been lots of headline worthy news today as Deep Silver and Crytek officially announced the new Homefront: The Revolution - read the news here and our impressions here. This was followed by the expected reveal of Mortal Kombat X as Ed Boon's countdown came to an end. To complete the onslaught of pre-E3 announcements Microsoft confirmed Forza Horizon 2 on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
A new Sony studio, Pixelopus, is going to show its first game at E3 according to NY Times. A new patch adds touch controls to Pikmin 3 and Microsoft revealed the first Games with Gold titles on Xbox One. Ubisoft's Watch Dogs smashes the UK record for a new IP while handily beating Mario Kart 8 in this week's charts.
In the rumour section we find news of God of War on PS4 for E3, a big E3 reveal from Ubisoft, and what's potentially the first DLC for Assassin's Creed: Unity.
In other news, Lionhead revealed a new character for Fable Legends - female tank Inga.
