Mythic Entertainment is the latest of EA's studios that has been shut down by the publisher. Their catalogue includes a variety of titles, such as Dark Age of Camelot, Warhammer Online, Tempest and Ultima Forever. The studio's most recent release was the free-to-play take on Dungeon Keeper, an update that didn't go down well with many people.
"We are closing the EA Mythic location in Fairfax, Virginia, as we concentrate mobile development in our other studio locations," said a statement sent to Kotaku.
"We are working with all impacted employees to provide assistance in finding new opportunities, either within EA or with other companies via an upcoming job fair."
Here's hoping that Mythic staffers can find their way into new roles in the very near future.
