Valve has launched In-Home Streaming on Steam, offering PC gamers the chance to stream their games from a gaming rig direct to the living room via a smaller, less powerful PC/laptop. More information can be found here, including support pages and technical advice.
Interestingly, the announcement includes the information that players will be able to stream to other operating systems, with Windows games playing on Mac OSX, Linux and SteamOS, "with support for more systems coming soon." What these systems are remains unclear, but perhaps Valve are planning on introducing support for iOS and Android devices?
