Multiple outlets (Variety, The Verge, Wall Street Journal) are reporting that Google is looking to buy up Twitch for $1 billion.
Apparently Twitch have opted for Google over other large suitors, supposedly including Microsoft, and while Wall Street Journal reports talks are at an early stage, The Verge and Variety cliam the deal is close to being finalised.
No official word on the matter exists at the moment (as expected).
