We're not going to give this one too much oxygen, such is the nature of the content featured within, but we felt obliged to at least make you aware of Gamer Girls, a new softcore porn mag that stars scantily clad women gripping gaming paraphernalia.
It's tacky smut of the highest order, and really does lower the bar in terms of acceptability. In an industry that's already riddled with misogyny and sexist attitudes, we really need to be moving away from this kind of crass nonsense.
The first issue launched on May 3rd, and apparently it's proved popular. The following message was posted on Instagram:
"GamerGirls Mag has gotten Over 450,000 views since it launched on May 3rd! People hate it & people love it,...but what matters most is that People are buying it;-) I think we're on to something good!"
