Apple has initiated the first steps in a legal battle with websites that facilitate the illegal downloads of their Apps.
The company has sent 'cease and desist' letters to the owners of popular download site Apptrackr. The website has allegedly moved servers overseas in a bid to avoid legal problems for their users after Apple reportedly sent them a series of takedown notices.
The report from Cult of Mac, describes Apptrackr as: "popular resource for cracked iOS apps".
