Finalists for Choice Awards

The organisers of the next Game Developers Choice Awards have announced their finalists for this years event.

Unsurprisingly Skyrim and Portal 2 are recognised with five nominations each, but happily we can report that Supergiant Games has received an impressive four nominations thanks to their outstanding work on the RPG Bastion.

These prestigious awards are decided by a peer-based voting system, where a select group of 500 of the worlds leading games developers nominates their choice in each category.

There are, on top of the various categories, several special awards. These include Pioneer, Ambassador and Lifetime Achievement awards.

The award ceremony is set to take place in San Francisco on March 7.
