Sony has just announced a dozen indie games for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita, including Nidhogg and Spelunky (which, admittedly, is already out on Vita). The full list is below, but represents a strong line-up of indie titles, and reinforces Sony's commitment to diverse gaming experiences on their platforms.

On top of that it looks like Sony are preparing an avalanche of indie content set to roll out across their trio of platforms - PS3, PS4 and PS Vita - with an estimated 100 games currently in development.
According to Destructoid, Sony's Adam Boyes confirmed at a recent PlayStation Indie Event that there's over 1000 developers licensed to self-publish on PlayStation platforms. 21 titles have been self-published on PS4 since launch.
It was also revealed that on PS4 Outlast has been downloaded 1.8 million times, Don't Starve 1 million, while the most popular download on the platform was Netflix, and the most popular game is Warframe.
