According to a report in Famitsu, Xbox One will be heading to Japan on September 4. Microsoft's consoles have, historically speaking, struggled to get a foothold in the Japanese market, so it'll be interesting to see if things are different this time around, especially considering the PlayStation 4 has already been available in that part of the world since February.

According to the report, a selection of games have already been confirmed as heading to the platform, including Forza Motorsport 5, Ryse: Son of Rome, Thief, Tomb Raider, Dead Rising 3, Sunset Overdrive, Kinect Sports Rivals, Murdered: Soul Suspect, Halo and Call of Duty: Ghosts (though when these games will be released still remains unclear). It's also worth noting that around 40 developers have pledged their support to the console (including Sega, Atlus, Ubisoft, Capcom, EA, Bandai Namco, Tecmo Koei, Square Enix, Warner Bros. and Take-Two).
