Epic Games has finally been showing off more of their next title, Fortnite.
The game, which was first announced back in 2011, stars on the front cover of this month's Game Informer, and Epic has also opened their digital doors for applications from potential alpha testers, so follow the link if you want to sign up and get involved early.
For those who don't remember the initial announcement, the game was revealed as a fort-building title that used day and night cycles. The magazine cover suggests that this feature endures.
While not venturing into too much detail, Game Informer does offer a few details, suggesting the following features: "an RPG-like progression system, Diablo-like looting, multiple campaigns of varying lengths, procedurally generated worlds," and "player vs. player battle."
