Deadline reports that New Regency and Ubisoft have taken in Adam Cooper and Bill Collage (Exodus: Gods & Kings) to help rework the first draft of the script for the Assassin's Creed movie. It may sound negative, but it's part of the process and a sign that things are progressing along nicely.
It has previously been announced that Michael Fassbender will play the lead role, but currently it's unknown whether he will take the role of one of the assassins found in the games or a brand new one (perhaps more likely).
