"So Not GTAV is definitely not Grand Theft Auto V, that's what it's definitely not," explained Emma Kendall. "It's a Great Traffic Adventure with a silent V. It's an affectionate parody, basically, of Grand Theft Auto. We've taken Grand Theft Auto, we've set it in Britain, and we've made it into Snake."
The charity that Kendall represents - Peer Productions - is aiming to raise funds so it can keep going beyond the end of this academic year, and is hoping that they can take advantage of the popularity of Grand Theft Auto V and draw some attention (and some money) to their cause.
The focus for the organisation is outreach work for "hard-hitting social issues" such as domestic violence, teen pregnancy and alcohol abuse, with the emphasis being on working and educating young people around the country.
"We thought films and TV shows and books, they all get satirised all the time, but video games have had it too easy for too long," Kendall told us.
