Seth Killian, who was one of the founders of the EVO tournament and who worked as a special advisor for the Street Fighter team at Capcom while also managing the community side of things, has left Sony Santa Monica where he served as lead game designer and help bring out PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. Killian took to Twitter to explain his departure.

"Hi guys, I chose to leave my Sony family back in Dec + on great terms. I was inspired by their amazing indies to do my own thing :)"

Killian's departure appears unrelated to the recent cutbacks at Sony Santa Monica.

"You'll see the games I had the privilege to work on at Sony soon--SMS has a STELLAR lineup coming. As for what I'm up to, stay tuned..."
