World of Tanks Blitz beta kicks off

Closed beta rolls out today.

The closed beta for Wargaming's free-to-play mobile title, World of Tanks Blitz, started today. So far over 150k people have applied (you can join them here).

"Closed Beta is something we have been looking forward to for a long time," said Wargaming's Andrey Ryabovol. "We hope players enjoy participating in the testing and are anxious to hear their feedback."

The closed beta currently supports "most" iPad tablets, and will include Android and iOS smartphones in due time. Currently the game includes 7v7 gameplay and 80 different tanks.
