According to this Twitter user (Thuway), who claims inside knowledge, Sony are preparing to launch PSOne and PS2 classics on PlayStation 4 and select titles will feature rendering in 1080p to boot.
Clearly, releasing PSOne and PS2 classics on PS4 is something that Sony have been working towards, but the 1080p part is very enticing.
