Even though this year's Gamescom isn't due to kick off until August 13-17, that hasn't stopped the first round of attendees from being announced by the event's organisers today.
The following companies are among those that have already secured their places on the show floor at this year's event: Bethesda, CD Projekt red, Crytek, Deep Silver/Koch Media, Electronic Arts, Konami, Kalypso Media, Microsoft, Nintendo, and Ubisoft.
Those companies will be joined by online specialists Bigpoint, Gaijin, Goodgame, Riot Games, Wargaming and Turtle Entertainment, who have also signed up for the event alongside peripheral manufacturers such as Nvidia, Roccat and Oculus Rift.
It's still some way off, but as always Gamereactor will be in attendance at this year's event.
