Over the weekend Kickstarter backers were warned of a security breach, and as a result have been told to change their passwords.
Law enforcement officials contacted Kickstarter on Wednesday of last week, and were made aware of a security breach whereby hackers were able to access some customer's information.
Kickstarter stresses that no credit card data was accessed, and that passwords remain encrypted, although they do advise that customers/backers change their passwords to improve security.
