There's a huge variety of tweaks and improvements coming to Xbox One in the coming days and weeks. The next update, which was actually due on February 11, is supposedly going to add hard drive management options, and a much-needed battery meter for the controller.
Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb said on Reddit: "I don't have all the details. Things are moving quickly and all the teams are working extra hard. I don't really like giving dates either. Too risky."
However, on top of that and following recent confirmation from Microsoft, it appears that changes coming in this particular update are further reaching than first thought.
According to Titanfall's lead designer, Justin Hendry, there's going to be several changes made at the bequest of Respawn Entertainment, changes that should improve the accuracy of the Xbox One controller.
"It's just fixing the controller input, really," he told The Verge. "It wasn't really where we felt it should be; it was a little overly twitchy with the current controls. Now it's fixed. We're happy with it."
Microsoft told the same site that the update will "increase the sensitivity of the outer boundaries of the thumbsticks on the Xbox One controller."
