Capcom has confirmed their latest financial results for the 9 months leading up to December 31, revealing a decline in profits despite the release of two games from their biggest franchises.

Monster Hunter 4 (3DS) and Dead Rising 3 (Xbox One) both boosted sales at the end of last year, but weren't enough to stop a 10% dip in profits (5.9 billion yen/$57 million). This slight decline even comes after a slight increase in sales.

Dead Rising 3 (1 million) and Monster Hunter 4 (4 million) both sold well, as did Dragon's Dogma: Dead Arisen. Resident Evil: Revelations and Phoenix Wright: Dual Destiny both hit target. Digital DLC was also a good earner for the publisher, exceeding annual expectations in just nine months.
