There's a couple of Killer Instinct related announcements today, including the news that the new rage quit solution has been implemented and new character Spinal has now been made available to Ultra Edition and Combo Breaker Pack owners.
The new system is designed to discourage people quitting early, and so when players do rage quit during ranked matches they'll be sent to Jail.
When a player's disconnect percentage goes above 15 percent they go to Jail, where they'll stay for 24 hours and only be able to play against others in the same situation. Each time a player is sent to the naughty step the amount of time they have to stay there increases by 24 hours (capped at 5 days).
It goes without saying that if a player is sent to Jail, they'll lose the match they left.
