After having dealt with most of the more alarming shortcomings of Battlefield 4 since its troubled launch DICE are moving to embrace the community in February with something they called Battlefield 4 Player Appreciation Month.
Karl Magnus Troedsson details the offerings on the official Battlefield Blog. The Player Appreciation month will offer up bonus Battlepacks every day (bronze or silver). These will contain things like XP boosts and camos. There will be a double XP weekend in February and a bonus double XP weekend for those with Battlefield Premium. There will also be Community Missions where players can join together to earn Gold Battlepacks. There will also be more communication with players with developers making it a point to reach out and do interviews.
