The Japanese games publisher Namco Bandai is switching names to Bandai Namco worldwide, a name they've been operating under in Japan since the two entities merged. Since Namco was the better known company outside of Japan, they used Namco Bandai instead, but now the company is changing that up according to a report on Gematsu.
The move means that 31 companies are changing their names, mostly various local distribution companies, but also some studios and holding companies. The change is effective as of April 1.
