The fourteen year console ban that once held sway in China is being lifted, although officials are still working to ensure that games that are "hostile to China" will not be released in the country.

"Things that are hostile to China, or not in conformity with the outlook of China's government, won't be allowed," said Cai Wu, the head of the Ministry of Culture, at a press conference today (reported by Bloomberg). "We want to open the window a crack to get some fresh air, but we still need a screen to block the flies and mosquitoes."

The change of tact by Chinese decision makers may have something to do with the $10 billion video game market already present within its borders, making it the third biggest market in the world (behind the US and Japan).

But which games won't make it past the censors? Battlefield 4? Fallout 3? And which games would Chinese authorities welcome in with open arms? Suggestions in the comments section below please...
