It's taken a little while, but now SteamOS supports graphics cards from AMD - meaning it's opened up for a much larger audience to test the operating system in its beta phase.
Sadly Polygon reports that the update still suffers from some lack of optimisation such as screen tearing - so AMD owners may want to hold off a while longer before jumping on the SteamOS train.
